MORE THAN CONQUERORS

The meaning of the word conqueror refers to gaining mastery over something or in our case, someone (the enemy). This translates into our lives as winning by overcoming opposition and overcoming by force.

The bible says in the book of Matthew that the Kingdom of God suffers violence (Matthew 11:12). What does that mean? Our battle is spiritual, we must know HOW to fight it. We are not beggars, we are not pleading with the enemy to leave us alone, no, instead we command in the name of Jesus and conquer the enemy by force through the power and authority invested in us by God!

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. - Romans 8:37 (NIV)

Because He loves us, because he cares for us, because we are His very own, in ALL THINGS we are more than conquerors. Whatever you are facing right now, no matter how difficult it seems to be, going through challenges is part of the journey, a journey in which we have the Almighty God walking with us.

Through the precious blood of Jesus we have been fortified and strengthened with the ability to go through everything and even come out VICTORIOUS! He has given us His Holy Spirit who lives inside of us, to help us in our weaknesses, comfort us, prepare us and direct us.

We must not be discouraged, we must remember that the battle is not ours, but God's (2 Chronicles 20:15). Through overcoming the world and the trials that come along, we get to know our Father more and more and He gets to speak to us more and more. This allows us to become stronger and deeply rooted in Him so we can face more battles to come.
