“THE YOUTH ALIVE FOR CHRIST IS A YOUTH MINISTRY FOR THE YOUTH AND BY THE YOUTH”
Back in 2010 Elizabeth (founder) identified the need for an awakening of the young people in Manchester. Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, she formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. 10 years down the line we are still growing and improving our reach.
“It all began in 1987 in a small town in Ghana, where I was posted to work as a Health Visiting Nurse. One Saturday afternoon, whilst attending a class to prepare for the Sunday Service, my pastor walked in with a Youth Evangelism Pastor. He then told me ‘I want you to work with this pastor to help the Youth in the church and also reach out to those outside who don’t know Christ'. ‘Wow what a great opportunity’, I replied. I gladly accepted it.
I received both spiritual and practical training from this Pastor which enabled me to be used mightily by God to bring lots of youth into the Kingdom of God. Some parents were even won to the Lord through their children being saved. Ever since then, my prayer and passion has been to see the Youth give their life to Christ and be on fire till Jesus comes again, hence the Youth Alive For Christ.”

PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR
Kafui has a strong desire for all youth to experience the Love of God and be active and on Fire for God. She has been working with YAFC from its beginnings by mobilising young people to help organise YAFC youth events. A project delivery manager by profession, she is an invaluable asset to the team. In her free time you’ll find her hosting game nights or travelling.

FINANCE OFFICER
Agnes is passionate about children and teenagers. She loves encouraging them to live their lives in accordance with God’s word. She is responsible for developing budgets, monitoring transactions, and preparing financial reports.
STELLA
SAFEGUARDING LEAD
Stella's passion in life is to educate and inform children, young people and their parents to know their identity in Christ. Her experience working in various health and social care settings ensures the welfare of YAFC. She is also a professional Gospel artist.
PRISCILLA
MANAGING EDITOR
Priscilla has a passion for leading young people to Christ. She is mainly responsible for email correspondence, website management and overseeing media content. She enjoys singing, dancing and learning new languages.
CATHERINE

Catherine has a desire to lead people to Salvation in Christ. With a degree in Business Management, her skills and expertise allow us to manage our Instagram content effectively. She has an interest for organic food, fashion and natural hair.
MANUELA
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Manuela is an all round creative individual with a passion for the Kingdom’s growth. She manages our web design, marketing materials and creates graphical contents. At her free time, she enjoys painting and illustrating, journaling and reflecting and listening to music.

AMBASSADOR
Faith has a passion to bring the youth to Christ, she has been involved in several youth clubs and is very active on her social media page when it comes to sharing the word of God. With a degree in Marketing management and Theology Mission and Evangelism, she has gained skills and a desire to spread the gospel and make Jesus famous. She enjoys singing, writing and content creating.
VANESSA
AMBASSADOR
Vanessa wants to help the youth find their way in Christ. As a young person myself I know the best way to help my target audience and inspire them to be the best version of themselves. Vanessa enjoys singing and dancing.

Sol wants to do all he can to help people come to God. He can to play musical instruments, and his hobbies include running and learning new things

Our main goal is to reach more youth and for all youth to remember their creator and worship Him alone.
Our mission therefore is the following;

▪Encourage every youth to study the word of God and obey
▪Encourage Christian youth to be active and on fire for Christ
▪Educate the youth on all aspects of life, thereby helping to build healthy communities

We Believe:

OUTREACH
YAFC works in partnership with other organisation to meet the urgent needs of people in the local community.
Christian Faith Centre
Over the past 10 years the Christian Faith Centre (a registered charity) has played a major role in the events organised by YAFC by providing their venues for free and offering cash donations to supports our event.
Tesco (Salford)
Early 2020, Tesco provided YAFC with an opportunity to fundraise(bag packing) in one of their store in order to fundraise for our event.
