ARE YOU ANXIOUS? TRY THIS! MAKE CHRIST YOUR PRIORITY

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 NIV

In Matthew 6, Jesus speaks on anxiety and urges us not worry, as it isn’t beneficial but instead takes our focus OFF of the Lord.

You can either focus on the LORD or ANXIETY. But NOT both 

You can’t serve two masters; either Jesus is your master?, or anxiety? 

So He tells us repeatedly in these verses to keep our eye on our Heavenly Father. It’s not enough to just seek God, but to seek Him “First”. First means first. MAKE HIM PRIORITY 

How do you seek Him? By faith through His Word and prayer.

If we seek Him with our whole heart, seek His rule and reign in our lives, we will not only find Him but He will also supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 NIV

God knows that only one thing can really drive our lives. He wants that one thing to be Him and His Kingdom, NOT material things. So He says But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 NIV. Make God and His kingdom your priority, and then let HIM take care of your material concerns.
