SET FREE

The journey of a Christian is not easy, neither does it come on a silver platter. The journey will have many trials, battles, at times frustration. The devil will not miss any opportunity at all, he will try by all means to oppress you, now that you belong to God.

God alone is able to know our thoughts, our hearts, everything about us. The devil has no power to do all these, however, he is able to bring things to our minds such as temptations, lies, negative thoughts. The bible says that we have not been overtaken by temptation and that God will always provide a way of escape for us. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

As today's Scripture says, we have been set free, for where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Thanks be to the Lord who has given us the Holy Spirit, who lives inside of us (1 Corinthians 3:16). This same Spirit raised Jesus from the dead! Through the Holy Spirit we have been made one with Christ! Who can ever be the closest to us? Who but the Spirit of the Most High God? Then what power has the enemy over us? None at all!

In order to remain spiritually strong, remember to always be prayerful: spiritual warfare should be a LIFESTYLE, not a "safety vest" used only in desperate times.

The Holy Spirit is our everything. He is here to help, guide, comfort, intercede and strengthen us. Whatever you are facing right now, know that the Spirit of the Living God is empowering you as you call on His name.
