SEEKING GOD’S KINGDOM FIRST

"But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33)

Why is it very important to seek God Kingdom first?

Well, as children of God it is important to seek first the Kingdom of our heavenly Father and His righteousness. This verse in the the bible clearly tells us to make the things of God our priority over the things of this world. Because it is of greater value than all the riches of the world . (Matthew 24:35) says that," everything you are seeing in this world is temporal and will pass away. But the Kingdom of God will remain forever". Therefore, if we obey God's words and seek his Kingdom first rather than the things of the world, we will inherit all the of the Kingdom.

Does this mean that we should neglect the reasonable and daily duties that help sustain our lives? Of course not, but for Christians there should be a difference in attitude towards them. We should not be conformed to this world: but be transformed by renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).

If we prioritise God's business or Kingdom first by seeking our salvation, living in obedience of God and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom to the world. Then God will take care of our business and will provide all our needs as he promised. (Philippians 4:19)"But my God shall supply all you need according to His riches and glory by Jesus Christ".

As Christians we should have the confidence and trust in God that He will provide our needs, and not be consumed with the things of the world like materialism or anxiety. Regardless of the situation or circumstances we find ourselves let us focus on the thing of God and he will surely supply all our needs .
