DO NOT LET YOUR ADORNING BE EXTERNAL

When you see these two images what comes to mind… Peace right? With what’s going on around the world with a feeling of a never-ending cycle. There is a stop to this matter of stress do you know what that is… You and what is inside of you. You’re a precious site of God who was created on this earth to do his will but must know your identity, and purpose, and eventually embrace the hidden person of the heart.

The scripture for the devotional on Tuesday;

“3 Do not let your adornment be merely outward- arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fire apparel- 4 ratther let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quite spirit, which is very precious in the site of God.” 1 Peter 3:3-4 NKJV & ESV

What matters to God is the godly character of a son (both genders), characterized by a gentle and quiet spirit. It is clear in scripture.

“Do not be conformed by the things of this world but be transformed by the renewing of the mind. Then you will be bale to test and approve what Gid’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will..” Roman 12:2

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6

(Lets play) “Lord help me to trust in your word and ways and may I continue to be content. Humble me lord for I am just a child. I need you more then ever.
